How wire transfers are received, matched to an order, and used for estate establishment work.

01 Scope
This policy explains how you fund your commitment on forests.market. It sits alongside the Offering Documents, which control.
02 Funding your commitment; no escrow
You fund your commitment by depositing directly to the Forests VC LLC operating account, per Exhibit B of your Subscription Agreement. There is no escrow: funds are available to the Company immediately and are used for estate establishment. This increases counterparty and execution risk, as disclosed in the SAFT, PPM and Risk disclosure. Accepted methods are wire transfer and ACH.
03 References, timing and reconciliation
Include the payment reference we provide (for example “[Your name] — Cocobolo SAFT”) so we can identify your funds. Settlement times vary by method. We reconcile incoming funds against your subscription; mismatches, over-payments or unidentifiable funds may be delayed or returned to the originating account.
04 Refunds
If your subscription is rejected or the offering is withdrawn, we return funds actually received, without interest, to the verified originating account. If the Establishment Event does not occur by the long-stop date, any refund is limited to the Company's then-available assets (not escrow-secured), as set out in the SAFT.
05 AML, sanctions and source of funds
All payments are subject to sanctions screening and source-of-funds checks. We may hold, decline or return funds, or freeze a position, where required for legal or compliance reasons. We do not accept third-party payments on your behalf unless expressly permitted and verified.
06 Future payment features
Additional payment methods and account features may be introduced in the future. They are not offered today, and this policy will be updated to describe them before they become available.
